We can't allow this to happen.. We can't allow our children to be indoctrinated by worship of our President. We must stop this now... Oh wait, it is too late.. it already happened and look where it got us.
Yep, that's Pres. Bush... being worshiped in absentia via a cardboard cutout. But did you see how the teacher or whatever she was directed the worship of the picture of the President by these children and they obeyed, they prayed, they bowed, they obviously were worshiping him.
Yet, to hear Fox Noise, and the GOPers things like this never happened, this all just started with Pres. Obama.. Well, proof of the lie that is..
Sorry again, for the lack of posts lately, but you know where I have been.. I will be back soon.. In the meantime please visit my friends Sue and the Complaint Dept. Manager @ Helloooooo Mr President She has been doing a great job of covering everything and keeps the rethugs hoppping...
Then there is also TomCat @ PoliticsPlus who stays on top of the news of the day, gives a wrap up and even throws in a puzzle to while away a few minutes and offers an open thread to just talk about what you might have on your chest.
The video today I got from another great blogger friend Matt @ Osborne Ink. If you haven't checked him out yet.. You are missing a great writer/reporter... Matt is also raising money to do some investigative reporting. Give him a read and if you can throw a few pennies in the pot.. He will be very appreciative. Thanks Matt for sharing with me.

Open letter to Senator McCaskill
You saw the post I wrote about what I thought Pres. Obama was thinking and how I felt. Well, I followed up on it. Here is the letter I wrote to my Senator Claire McCaskill today. I will let you know what answer I get.
As I said in my earlier post, I really think this is what Pres. Obama wants, he wants Congress to do their job. So, that is what I am asking.. for them to do their job.
Each of you can do the same if you so choose.
I wasn't sure what category to put this under. It has to do with Laws and changing Executive Orders that were put into place under former Pres. Bush. At least I think that's what they were. I may be mistaken about them. There were so many things done during his time in office. It concerns the holding of prisoners and papers.
I believe Congress needs to pass some form of law redefining Habeas Corpus and the release of memos or paperwork regarding some of the detainees from other countries so they may be tried instead of using the "State Secrets" that was invoked so often by former Pres. Bush in the past and recently by Pres. Obama.
I fully trust and support Pres. Obama, and in no way do I think he is the same as Bush, but I do think that to leave those loopholes on the books, so to speak is to open the doors to another administration to walk through easily into a mine field.
It's time for you to reign in the Executive Branch in such a way that it becomes legal precedent and not expect Pres. Obama to do it for you by executive order alone. It is really time for Congress to step up and do your job by introducing laws and passing them, and allowing Pres. Obama to be the President he said he wanted to be.
Remember in 2006 when he said this: "restricting somebody’s right to challenge their imprisonment indefinitely is not going to make us safer. In fact, recent evidence shows it is probably making us less safe.” Then it is up to YOU as the law makers to pass the laws to as FDR said, “Force me to do what I said.”
Thank you, Sen. McCaskill for all the work you do. I hope this makes sense to you and that you will understand what I am trying to say. I truly believe we are still a nation of laws and that Pres. Obama wants to be held to a higher standard than he has been.
We, the people who support him, who worked for him and who still support him out here in the nations heartland want to see these things done to help him be a success and to make sure that he doesn't go down the path that is easy with the door that was left open by the Bush Administration.
Please close that door, not just for Pres. Obama but for yourself and for future Administrations so that our Country can start to heal and become the great nation it has always striven to be.

How Much Do We Know About Reagan and Is It True??
A couple of days ago, CSPAN came out with their new ranking of the presidents. With shrub at 36th I thought that was a pretty good fit for him. Unless of course they wanted to put him farther down the line.
I was also pretty proud of the fact that the native son of my home state, Give 'em Hell Harry was in 5th place. I could live with that, and with most of the others.
However, the one that I really didn't understand and have never understood was number 10, Ronald Reagan. What did or had he done that made him rank so high on this list??
I really can't remember anything he ever did that was so great, and I have thought about it. Yeah, I know, the hostages were freed when he became president. But did he really have anything to do with it? Or was that all Carter? How much did Reagan really do in the transition period??
I visit another blog quite often called Broadway Carl, and one of his bloggers had written up a spot about the rankings of the presidents, and in the comments I asked how Ronnie got so high.. so he wrote an answer to me.
It was good, and it linked to a Vanity Fair article that talked about some of the things that happened in the time during Reagan's term in office. How he was such a clown even Gorbachev didn't like talking to him.
It is well worth checking out.. if you want to see Armadillo Hussein Joe's take on Ronnie Ray-gunz, (as he calls him) it's pretty good.
