In this section, Rachel does her best work when she calls out Rep. Schock for his hypocrisy in voting against the Recovery Act, then bragging about the money he brought home to his district. He tries to worm out of it, but he is no match for Rachel.

This belongs to formerly well known blogger in the area who is now getting back in the game after going on hiatus. She also lives a few streets over from me, poor girl.
Schlock was really squirming, that's for sure. She's great at pointing out the hypocrisy. Not that it isn't shooting fish in a barrel, but I love the way she ticks off the actual facts and uses that to demolish the talking points.
David Brooks is terrible. "This isn't 1932-1964, so we shouldn't try much." What about the need? As for his idiocy about polls, they also show that people like individual parts of the bill.
Arrgh.
