President Obama Speaks at Vermont Ave. Baptist Church

This morning Pres. Obama spoke at the Vermont Avenue Baptist Church in Washington D.C. He spoke about Martin Luther King and his legacy. He spoke about his first year in office and he briefly touched on Haiti. It was a very moving speech as only he can give and it touched many I am sure. I know it touched me. Annette, like most of President Obamas speeches, I was moved to tears. I didn't see the beginning so I'll be back tomorrow to watch this video!

For those of us with caring hearts, the presidents words were beautiful and came from HIS HEART. Thanks for posting this video for us to see again!

You are most welcome Sue, I like to post them so I can listen to them without the filter of the media and the talk overs they usually have. The President is one of the best orators ever, and will likely go down in history as that. But he isn't just an empty talker.. he does have substance and puts his heart into every speech. That's what most people don't realize, there is a lot of him in each speech he makes, because most of them he helps write.
