Sec. Def. Gates Announces the End of Stop Loss
A welcome announcement from Sec. Gates today. I am sure this got covered by all the news from AIG. Stop Loss was one of the worse things that Bush ever did to the military. They aren't stopping it overnight, unfortunately, but at least they are going to stop it. They are also laying out the plans more in detail for the honoring of the fallen.

That was fantastic news. Regardless of what it all looks like, I do believe that things are heading in the right direction.
