Condi Rice Went to Stanford, And You Won't Believe What She Said

The Young Turks have it for us.. I subscribe to their YouTube channel and get the videos when they come out. This was in my inbox this morning... WOW... is about all I can say..

Why are the media not covering this? They are ignoring this so much. They really don't want to talk about the fact the Bush Mis-Administration tortured. They really don't. Thank goodness some of the students were on the ball and got this on tape.

Here is what Condi Had to say and what Cenk Uygur's analysis of it afterward. It is priceless...

So, again, if the President says it is ok, then it's not illegal. Give. Me. A. Break.

Here we go with the Empirical Presidency of Bush/Cheney. That's what it amounted to. They had a stranglehold on this country and the Congress allowed it to happen.

Double speak, double think.

So if the President says that torture isn't torture then it isn't. Maybe he can say that murder isn't murder. Or he can say that war is peace, freedom is slavery and ignorance is strength. Were they using 1984 as a manual on how to run their administration? WTF.

And no wonder the press hasn't gotten a hold of it, they're buried up to their ears in Swine Flu.

You beat me to it, World.

The timidity of the Democrats in standing up to Bush is a black mark on the party, especially its leadership. Bush and co. were essentially bullies, and like most bullies they backed down when confronted. I'll never understand why the Democrats didn't do it more often, especially after the 2006 elections and Bush's decision to give the finger to the public by authorizing the surge.

Just because he said it doesn't mean it's true!
It wasn't true for Nixon and it is not true with Bush. I believe the whole past administation are running scared as well they should. this time the truth will be told!!

And they want us to think they aren't all about the authoritarianism and power. Right.
