It's a great motto for life. The best version of it I've heard was a few years ago when Pete Seeger and the Guthrie family did it at Carnegie Hall. Pete wrote it, of course and it was supposed to be his last time at the annual Thankgiving show so it was extra poignant. As it happens, he's done that show a couple of more times since then but at the time everyone sang along and cried.

I always loved that one, too. Very hopeful and wise.
And of course putting biblical words to music is the only way I can remember them.
