PEBO & VPE JB Laying a Wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns

This touched me so much. My dad was a veteran, and we went to see this when we went to DC and saw the dedication of the WWII Memorial. To see PE Obama and VPE Biden take the time to do this today just really meant a lot to me today.

He has stated many times he will honor the veterans. He has also shown he will do that, so it is not just talking the talk, he walks the walk. I remember on Veterans Day, he and Tammy Duckworth, laid a wreath in Chicago. He will make a great Commander in Chief, just because he does respect our veterans and our troops.

So nice to see the men who will be pres/vp displaying human emotions. So unlike Bush who actually came out of one of his VA photo-op visit-the-wounded-soldiers-events saying he's got a wound, too -- displaying a finger he injured cutting brush. Bad enough, but I don't think Cheney ever even visited. Both of them thought prohibiting us from seeing military coffins and funerals was a good PR move. I expect Obama/Biden to stop shielding us from the awful price of war.
