2,000,000 plus people, 6 hours waiting in line, freezing temperatures. Unable to get to the areas they were assigned to. Stuck with no way to drive due to the bridges closed.
In a way I not surprised...all last year as the rallies got bigger and bigger...thousands stood in all kinds of weather and conditions to see and hear him.....the first time I took 6-6 we waited in line over 6 hours....it was calm, peaceful, people talked and looked out for each other..the LINES were an experience in themselves, americans connecting...again....and Obama people would check on folks....and then once inside there was another 4 hour wait....but the obama people played music and you could buy food- and yes, again people connected....
my son hates crowds and he felt at peace- it was great energy....and this was during the campaign...it was an amazing experience...
then I saw Obama in Cleveland- 2 days before the election - 83,000, and Ctown only had 18 cops downtown( I kid you not....and NO arrests....and all kinds of people....and people looking out for each other....
I believe that there are good people...but I also do believe that Obama inspires this....moves people to find something better inside....
( and after ALL the Hatemongering that went on....it's kind of Miracle this shift has happened....I blame it on us Old Hippies and the coming together with the young ones that were craving , praying and hoping for their own "60's......)
